We propose a loosely coupled implementation model that allows cataloging systems to record FRBR Work and Expression entities linking bibliographic records maintained by libraries. The proposed model enables a cataloging system that records Work and Expression entities to operate independently from existing cataloging systems. We have developed a prototype system that uses CiNii Books as an existing cataloging system and have shown its feasibility.

Recently, there are many reading support web services, which support users' communication about their impression of books. To facilitate smooth communication between users, the function supporting to meet other users with similar interests is necessary to these services. In this paper, we propose a method for discovering users who have similar interests, "NDC Tree Profiling", for reading support web services. NDC tree profiling generates tree forms of user profile using numbers of Nippon Decimal Classification (NDC) of the books they read. Then, comparing each profile, our method could discover users who have similar interest for reading. The result of the evaluation experiment, our method was statistically superior to random method. Also our method is more accurate than the method based on the number of common books, and the method based on vector space model using TF-IDF, but this difference was not statistically significant. Although sufficient accuracy improvement was not completed, the NDC tree profile proposed by this research has a layered structure, and has a possibility that a user's concern can be more delicately caught by adjusting the dignity for every class. More effective similar reader discovery may be realizable by performing further adjustment.

<p> In recent years, research data management supporters in institutions are as important as research data management. However, the definition of the data librarian is not well defined. In this study, we conducted a literature survey and considered the definition and duties of the data librarian, and created the lists of common skills required for data librarians. Finally, we discuss the organizational model of research data management support in Japanese academic institutions.</p>

&lt;p&gt; &quot;Literary Dojinshi&quot; is Japan&#039;s own media generated as products of literary activities. That media is an important resources for research about Japanese novelist in early stages. Especially, Literary Dojinshi in &quot;Bungaku-Furima&quot; are important resources for contemporary movement of literature in Japan. Nevertheless, there is any comprehensive and systematic databases for Literary Dojinshi in the world. We consider data models for Literary Dojinshi based on ten thousand resources or more deposited in Nihon University College of Arts. As a result, we detected a problem that exist data models about Literary Dojinshi cannot describe relationship of consignment sale in market of Literary Dojinshi.&lt;/p&gt;

大学図書館のサービスは，資料中心型から利用者の活動中心型へと変容した。これからの大学図書館は，利用者の知的生産活動をいかに捕捉していくかが鍵を握る。知的生産活動を捕捉することは，必然的に「電子図書館」と「場所としての図書館」を接合させる。これを達成する新たな図書館像として，学習活動自体を「コト」の情報として保存・発信できる「記憶するラーニング・コモンズ」を提案する。本構想を実現するには，メタデータ技術からセンシング技術まで，多様な情報技術の統合的活用が不可欠である。図書館のシステム設計に対する考え方を転換し，学生の学習活動全体を支える連続的なプラットフォームの一部として捉えることが重要である。

In recent years, many people interested in libraries are discussing about using circulation data for library service, for example forum in &quot;Library Fair&quot;. A few libraries started to use library system with circulation data. But it is not enough that discussing how library can use circulation data for library improvement. This article describes recent discussion and activities of circulation data, and consider about new library in the web age. In the result, we propose 4 types of circulation data usage and requirements for achieving new library model. In these requirements, we emphasized building user&#039;s community in library. At last, we introduce web service named &quot;Shizuku2.0&quot; that supports community oriented library systems.

本研究では利用者同士のコミュニケーション促進を目的とした図書館システム Shizuku の開発を行った。現在の図書館は、情報提供機関であることを越えて知識創出を支援する機関となることを求められつつある。知識創出を目指すためには、コミュニティの形成が欠かせない。そこで、本システムでは図書館利用者のコミュニティ形成を支援する機能の実装を目指した。具体的には貸出履歴情報を活用し、仮想本棚や仮想図書カードによる交流機能を実装した。We developed the library system &#039;Shizuku&#039; accelerating better communications between users. Libraries are expected to be fields of knowledge creation. But now, library systems are developed mainly for assisting librarians&#039; works. In order to fill the library&#039;s role as a knowledge creation field, it is necessary to organize users&#039; communities in the system. We developed two functions that create user communities; 1) the virtual bookshelf, 2) the virtual library card with circulation record.

<p> In the school education, teachers are practicing group-reading activities with adolescents for developing the reading comprehension, linguistic expressive ability and communication ability of adolescents. On the other hand, it is also important that the support in adolescents' independent group-reading activities as development of the independent learning attitude. For considering about an important matter of adolescents' independent group-reading activities, we selected "Bibliobattle" as one kind of group reading activities, and analyzed records of Bibliobattle events in Japan.</p>
