In this study, the Author tried to perform an international comparison of automotive recycling business, still being conscious of the policy trends. With regard to the fast-growing China, however, the Author decided to exclude it as a subject of study. First, the Author reconsidered Directive 2000/53/EC of the European Parliament and of the council of 18 September 2000 on end-of life vehicles. Then, the Author examined recycling situations of trucks in Malaysia and motorcycles in Vietnam. However, the Author think that the truck rebuilt is a sunset industry.
Moreover, the Author examined automotive recycling in the United States of America, through the study on existing research reports and field surveys. Finally, the Author conducted study on “reuse” and recycling situations of the automotive batteries, which should be an important policy because next-generation vehicles such as electric vehicles will increase in the future.

The study grasped situation of environmental services trade in respective international organizations, it was difficult to compare the amount environmental services trade, because there was very little agreement of the definition of environmental services.
Therefore, it was analyzed by the individual environmental companies listed data in the world. It was found from the result that there was no proof that international expansion of Japanese environmental companies trailed in comparison to the Western companies, which has been pointed out.
In addition, it was compared Japanese administrative support of environment business international expansion with France, environmental improvement of developing countries and the international expansion of Japan's environmental companies could be progress by administrative actively international expansion support.
